Mental illness isn’t demonic. In fact, any mental illness can exist within the truth of the Bible. It is NOT anti-biblical to have a mental illness. Jesus died on the cross so we wouldn’t have to be perfect to have a relationship with God. His death didn’t mean perfect healing for every single one of His followers. Rather, it meant they could accept a life of grace (no matter how hard life becomes). In this world we will have trouble – but take heart! Jesus has overcome the world.
